Beatification of Father McGivney
Father Michael McGivney One Step Closer to Sainthood On July 20, The Vatican Congregation for the Causes of Saints announced the beatification ceremony for Father Michael McGivney will take place at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Connecticut on Oct. 31. Flag Retirement Ceremony
Our Lady of the Lake Knights of Columbus Assembly #2972 & Scouts BSA, Troops 4199 and 5199 of Pell City will conduct a Flag Retirement Ceremony on November 7th next to the Knights’ shed at 9:30 am. There are containers in each foyer where your old and worn flags can be placed. All Veterans are invited to attend and will be presented with a memento from this Flag Retirement Ceremony.

St. Clair Memorial Gardens will be on your right directly across from Usrey Funeral Home and Wattsville Post Office. Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. The ceremony will be at the Military Section located at the northeastern portion of the cemetery.
