SACRAMENTAL HISTORY

The first baptism recorded at Our Lady of the Lake parish is Amanda Lee Stadler, the daughter of Bernard Craig Stadler and Janice Delane Loggins of Sylacauga, Alabama, who was baptized on September 20, 1970, by Father Robert J. Bauler. The most recent baptism recorded in our parish was Vivienne June Chavers, daughter of Colby Alan Chavers and Valerie Brazzolotto of Birmingham, Alabama (and granddaughter of Deacon Serge and Sarah Brazzolotto), who was
baptized on August 8, 2021, by Deacon Serge. In all, there have been 707 recorded baptisms in the history of the parish.

Under First Communions, the first name is Regina Gay Beason, daughter of George Beason and Edna Grant, who made her First Communion on December 18, 1971. The most recent First Communion recorded was that of Ella Yancey, daughter of Bobby Yancey and Michelle Zopfi, who made her First Communion on
May 2, 2021. In all, there are 473 recorded First Communions in the history of our parish.

Under Confirmations, the first name is Mark Amelang, son of Josef Amelang and Carol Rauschen, who was confirmed by Bishop Joseph Vath on March 29, 1977. The most recent name in the register of Confirmations is Jacob Wiley, son of Brandon Wiley and Leah Newcomb, who was confirmed by Bishop  Stephen Raica on April 13, 2021. In all, there have been 376 confirmations in the history of our parish.

The first marriage recorded was between Bobby John Rast and Sara Ann Love, which took place at Our Lady of the Lake church on June 19, 1970. The most
recent marriage recorded was between Zachary Thomas Wronski and Cassidy Elizabeth Kelley, which took place at Our Lady of the Lake church on June 26, 2021. In all, there are 143 marriages recorded in our parish.

The first parishioner whose death was recorded is Joseph Brascho, who died on November 23, 1970 at age 67 and whose funeral occurred on November 25th.
The latest death in the parish was Hope Bakane, who died on August 5, 2021, at the age of 45, and whose funeral occurred on August 9th. In all, 202 parishioner deaths have been recorded.
